The new Gamajet V’s compact size readily passes through a 3 inch opening, making it ideal for cleaning small tanks, vats and vessels. Gamajet V offers the cleaning power and flexibility you need. It surpasses spray balls, water blasting, boil outs, manual hose, and scraping and chipping. The Gamajet Vis a fluid-driven, rotary tank cleaning machine designed to fit through small passageways and to clean smaller vessels (up to 15’ (4.57 m) in diameter by 15’ (4.57 m) high). It revolves 360° in both the horizontal and vertical planes, with synchronized solid jets providing a tight and thorough scouring pattern on the inside tank surfaces in just one complete cycle. Its horizontal and vertical rotation patterns are interlocked and controlled by gears, not by any reaction forces. A choice of nozzle sizes, turbines and gear speeds offers a range of flow rates, pressures and wash cycle times.
Overall Width: 2.95" (7.49 cm) including Nozzle Housing
Weight: 7 lb (3.18 kg)
Clearance: 3.00" (7.62) Minimum Passageway I.D.
Other Options:
Directional Units
Other Specifications:
Inlet Connection: 1 1/4" NPT-Female.
Construction/Design: Parts are machined from 316-L Stainless Steel investment castings or bar stock.
Impeller & Final Shafts: For increased wear resistance, the impeller and final shafts are plasma-sprayed with a Chromium Oxide coating on Stainless Steel.
Shaft & Gearbox Bushings: Turbine shaft thrust is absorbed by a Tungsten carbide bushing. Gearbox bushings are carbon-filled Teflon or other non-cupric material.
Bearings: Bearings in the rotating tee and nozzle housings are self-lubricating, carbon-fiber-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide.
Bearing Cups: Main body castings are protected by replaceable 316-L Stainless Steel cups for extended frictional wear life.
Static Seals: O-Ring materials are selected for each application. Viton® is standard with Kalrez®, Zalak® and EPDM available. Other materials can be supplied on special order.
Dynamic Seals: Rotary shaft and housing seals are spring-loaded, double-lipped and made of PTFE. They are reinforced for extra long wear and protection against leakage, abrasion and deposit build-up.
Nozzles: Dual 0.110" (2.79 mm), 0.125" (3.18 mm), 0.135" (3.43 mm), 0.150" (3.81 mm), 0.165" (4.19 mm), 0.187" (4.75 mm) and 0.200" (5.08 mm) orifice diameters. Longer nozzles opening. Other nozzle sizes available upon request.
Drive Mechanism: The wash fluid enters the Gamajet at the inlet collar where it encounters and spins turbine blades. The turbine blades are attached to the top of the drive or rotor shaft, the bottom of this shaft is connected to the inside of a sealed, planetary gearhead which then turns the body in the horizontal plane and the nozzles in the vertical plane.
Planetary Gearhead: The sealed planetary gearhead has an external casing made of steel, surface-anodized to become stainless. This sealed gearhead is located inside the gearbox, which itself is sealed, and thus does not require any lubricant. All internal parts are hardened sintered steel, the end caps and the output shaft are stainless steel.
Lubricant: A Food grade lubricant is inside the sealed gearhead casing. No customer-supplied or user-maintained lubricant is needed.
Gear Ratios: Fast, medium (standard) and slow planetary gear heads are supplied.
Warranty: Gamajets are warranted for eighteen months from the date of shipment against any defects in workmanship or materials. Normal maintenance parts such as O-rings and bearings and are not included under this warranty, nor is damage caused by dropping, use of destructively corrosive fluids, or other abuse. This warranty shall not apply to any malfunction resulting from use of non-Gamajet replacement parts purchased from any source other than Gamajet or an authorized Gamajet distributor.
